A home away from home

Sino Connie Homestay was built in 2015 to accommodate family events - Gawai festival and Christmas. Sino Connie has eleven children, more than twenty grandchildren & five great grandchildren ... and still counting.

Sino Connie is passionate with the Bidayuh culture and to have a home made of wooden/bamboo on a stilt was a dream.

There are eight bedrooms, a pantry, a veranda and a barbecue facility available at this long-house inspired home. There are three showers & toilets, one unit located next to the pantry and two more units located downstairs.

Our home has basic amenities with fairly good telecommunication services, perfect for a quiet weekend. What better ways to recover and rejuvenate from corporate responsibilities?

The villagers are mostly farmers, so, why not get your hands on paddy planting, vegetable growing and chicken/duck/fish feeding.

Sino Connie is known for her crafts. Make sure you check out the hand-woven baskets & bangles made from rattan, hand-made costume jewelries and the traditional Bidayuh costume, all handmade and home-made by Sino Connie herself. You can also customise these pieces at affordable prices.
